Grade 10: October 2016 - March 2017
Designed using Arduino and TinkerCAD.
In this exciting project, I recreated a sentry gun from a video game called 'Team Fortress 2.' The materials used in this project were cardboard, 3d printed parts, and electronic components all controlled by an Arduino microcontroller. The replica sentry is functional and behaves similarly to the sentry in-game. The sentry rotates on a big servo motor. Movement is detected using three ultrasonic sensors. It simulates firing with a group of LEDs for muzzle flash and a small servo motor to mimic muzzle recoil movement. The sound comes from a speaker linked to an Adafruit Audio FX Sound Board.

Build Process
I got a 3d printer halfway through the project. So many things were made out of cardboard and other materials.
